Welcome to QMAST's Wiki

QMAST's wiki is a collaborative website about Autonomous Sailboats that anyone can edit!

Please note that the information on this wiki is released under CC-BY-SA license. This means that any content added to the wiki must already be released under this license, or created by YOU. This license prohibits any restriction on the use of the material, and derivative works must be released also under this license. So if you have plans to add things here and then sell it under a different license (ie copyright), dont put your stuff here. Note that screenshots of Microsoft products are not CC-BY-SA licensed, so cannot be posted on this wiki.

With that being said, please edit, improve, change, rearrange, comment, and make it your own! It's easy to keep track of useful information by having the wiki open when browsing and pasting in links, jotting down notes when laying out designs, or keeping track of neat tips.... and it doesn't even have to be in the right spot (or formatted in size 10 arial, two columns, with 1" spacing around the borders!) So why not...

If you have any comments or suggestions on the Wiki's structure itself (rather than edits to it's content), place them on the community portal page.

Queen's Mostly Autonomous Sailboat Team

The team is based at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. This wiki is a technical repository of knowledge about the team; and is a how-to guide to the whole boat! Fill in any information that you know about the boat, and someone else might want to know; or instructions and training guides to useful skills.

Pages in QMAST Wiki

The MAST wiki is organized by section of the boat, with any detailed information about a specific item in a separate page:

Alternatively, check out the list of all pages within the MAST wiki (excluding category pages).
